Ik heb echt goed nieuws die ik wil delen met je over mijn muziek en gitaarlessen.



Eerst en vooral ben ik heel blij om aan te kondigen dat ik terug met een Rock Band aan het repeteren ben.

Ons eerste nummer wordt nu geschreven, terwijl we wekelijks repeteren.

Denk aan een goede mix van Bluesy Rock à la; The Black Box Revelation, The Black Crowes, (John Spencer) Blues Explosion,  The Rolling Stones, Them Crooked Vultures, QOSA, Soapstone, Soulwax, Triggerfinger,...



Ook ziet het eruit dat mijn droom om een bluesband met topmuzikanten te lijden eindelijk werkelijkheid wordt. Ik kreeg vorig jaar al het ja-woord van een super bassist en vond ook zo een drummer. Dit project word heel binnenkort leven in geblazen!



Meer goed nieuws:

Ik geef in juni een workshop over blues gitaar in een muziekschool in Bradford, west yorkshire in de U.K. Natuurlijk ben ik hier zeer enthousiast over, want dit wordt mijn eerste internationale workshop!

Ola!

I'm sitting at my desk right now, staring at a sheet of paper with a bunch of song tittles on it. Songs I wrote in the last 2 years of my life.

I have to say, It has been an amazing journey, putting my feelings, toughts, emotions, adventures, etc. into these songs.

Every word, every note tells a story that I went trought... so it feels very special to me to finally put my pen down (at least for a little while) and let these songs become what they want to become.

I wrote these songs to be part of my album "Spirits in Revolution", but I just decided to let go of the need to finish this album right on the spot...
I feel like some of these songs need to be finished right now, while I think other songs need to take on more a life of themselves. I feel like I want to develop them over time & let these songs grow.

So here it is:

I decided to split the album up...
Part 1 features the songs that I really wanted to put out right now...
I don't want to wait any longer to release these baby's.
In order for me to finish the whole album, I make this part 1 available as a free download.
